These are just a few good reasons why most men end up having fat bellies. So how are you going to avoid this? What is the best way to lose belly fat for men? This could be difficult, but once you set your mind to it, it will be a piece of cake.

Click Here for Great Tips on How to Lose Belly Fat for Men!

To lose belly fat for men, doing exercises at the gym is not enough. The most important factor you need to remember is to follow the right dietary plan. Living a well balanced diet, with good carbs, lean-protein and healthy fats, is your first step to burn off belly fat. Having discipline on your eating habits can help you burn belly fat fast.

Avoid food and drinks which are high in calories. Beer is one of the drinks you need to avoid because of the high calories it contains. Drinking soda would have the same effect. So, stay away from fatty foods such as potato chips, fries, fast food and different deep-fried meals. I know for a fact that these foods are somewhat mouth watering; but you can actually survive without them.

Why not, for a change, eat healthy foods like green leafy vegetables, fruits and whole grains in your meals. Being able to determine good fats from bad ones can be a good starting point for you to lose that nasty belly fat. Unhealthy fatty foods can only add more layers of fat in your body. This is not the best way to burn belly fat fast. Why? Well, that’s because it will be impossible to burn fat when you’re increasing your body fat percentage.

Add sufficient protein in your diet. Protein is responsible for building your muscles. Lean meat, eggs yogurt, beans and tofu are one of the best food examples that gives high protein nutrients. Try to consume a lot of these especially, right after your workout.

As we all know this will require a lot of discipline on your part. But all of these will be worth it when you see that you are just a few steps closer to building ripped abs.

When you learn to follow this diet while you do your workout routines, you will definitely get a flat stomach plus a healthy body that other people would envy. Healthy eating is not just a way to lose belly fat for men, but it is also the key to lessen the possibility of getting a heart attack.

How to lose belly fat for men, all it takes is the proper diet combined with continuous workout. Following this technique, you can kiss your belly fat goodbye and welcome the sexy and tough-looking abs.

You think male yoga exercises for abs are too…ho-hum and mild for your taste?

Most men have this notion that fast-paced, highly-intense full body workouts and backbreaking targeted abs exercises are the only forms of physical activity that can be done to result in six pack abs. Although there is some truth to that, it’s not necessarily a hard, fast rule. Laid-back fitness routines such as stretching and yoga can also get you great abs without having to constantly gasp for air.

Click here for exercise alternatives that build abs Fast!

There’s a good reason why yoga has been around for centuries. It promotes good posture, flexibility, builds strength, and conditions your whole body for maximum performance. Similarly, male yoga exercises for abs can target your core muscles, rendering them lean and tough

During yoga, your abdominal muscles, along with other hard-to-define muscle groups, are stretched, elongated, and conditioned. Performing yoga regularly will help sculpt your midsection and tone the rest of your body. It truly is a complete body routine.

There are many yoga positions you can incorporate into your fitness program, but the following are proven to be the most effective in developing abs and other muscle groups as well.

1. Yoga Crunches. Regular crunches have been a popular choice among ab builders and enthusiasts. They can also be adapted as male yoga exercises for abs.

To perform these, simply lie on the floor as you would with conventional crunches. Slowly pull in both knees toward your chest. Straighten your legs until they’re completely flexed and perpendicular to the floor.

Carefully bend your knees close to your chest again while keeping your abs taut. Be very aware of your abdominal muscles because even as you use your leg muscles for this exercise, your abs should also be working hard. Also, avoid arching your back at any time; this would isolate your midsection better. Do at least 10 reps of this exercise in a row to really work your abs.

2. Mountain Tilts. These standing male yoga exercises for abs will greatly define your abdominals, improve your posture, and lengthen your physique.

You must stand up, keep your feet shoulder-width apart, and relax your arms on each side. Lift your right arm above your head and bend to the left. Reach our as far as your fingers will go and hold it there for about 5 seconds. Go back to your starting position and do the same on the other side. Do at least 5 reps of this exercise.

3. Triangle Pose. Like the previous male yoga exercises for abs, the triangle pose requires you to stand on your feet. With your feet further apart than in mountain tilts and planted securely on the ground, point your left foot forward and turn your right foot out 90 degrees. Extend both arms on your sides and slowly bend to your left at the waist. Remember not to pivot so that your torso and head are still facing the same direction as your left foot. Rest your left hand on your leg and stretch your right as high up as you can. Hold it there for around 10-15 seconds then come back up. Switch sides and feet and do the same on the other side. Doing 3 poses on each side should be more than enough.

Male yoga exercises for abs are definitely far from drab. Give them a try today!

Every day, people all across the world head to the gym for hours of crunches to get stellar abs. Go into the fitness section of any bookstore and you’ll see dozens of books promising to reveal the secret of six pack abs.

Click Here for Great Mens Abs Mythbusters!

Do you know what’s real and what’s just hype?

Before you being an abdominal workout routine, here’s the facts:

The only way to “spot reduce” fat is with surgery.

For your abdominal muscles to be seen, your body fat percentage must be less than 10%.

Reducing fat and building or maintaining muscle requires a long-term regimen of diet, cardio, and toning exercise.

The “Spot Reduce” Fat Myth

Some machines, diets, and gimmicks will tell you that it is possible to use their product to melt the fat right off your belly. Doctors and fitness experts agree that it is simply not possible to reduce fat in one specific area, such as men’s abs, without the aid of surgery. While you can target certain areas of your body with exercise, this will only make them stronger – it will not reduce fat.

Many men are confused, thinking that they can remove belly fat through sit-ups, or increase abdominal definition with diet. Professor Peter Lemon, of Kent State University, has studied the link between food and exercise extensively, and regarding the theory of spot fat reduction he says: “It’ll never work. You might improve abdominal strength, but that alone won’t get you the results you want.”

Body Fat Percentage

No matter how strong your abs are, if they’re covered in fat you won’t be able to see them. In reality, many men’s abs aren’t in too bad shape to begin with – they’re just covered in fat!

Dr. Lentz, another fitness expert, says “In most men, fat around the abdominals is the last thing their bodies burn off. Aerobic exercise is what gets your body to start burning it.”

You should start with about 30 minutes, 3 times a week of something like:

Power Walking

Bicycling

Rowing

Martial Arts

Long-term Regimen

To reduce fat and build your abs, you need to change your diet and increase your metabolism. A good way to start is by lowering your fat and sugar intake, increasing the amount of protein you consume, and beginning a cardio workout routine. After you have that down, then you should begin a targeted abdominal training exercise program.

Just stick to your diet, perform regular cardio workouts, and keep training those abs. Soon that potbelly will disappear, and you’ll have rock solid abs, too.

Should you do tons of crunches to reduce your tummy bulge?

How do you reduce fat?

What are good stomach exercises?

What’s wrong with sit-ups?

Tons of Crunches

Doing tons of crunches won’t banish a bit of belly fat. Not even a little bit. This theory, called spot reduction, was once popular in the fitness community, but has now been scientifically disproven. New research shows that fat is lost all over your body, and sadly, you can’t pick where it comes from.

Reducing Fat

Studies have shown that there are two ways to reduce fat, and you have to use them both at the same time.

Diet

Exercise

Experts do not agree on what the perfect diet is to be flat stomach men. But most agree that diets that are low in fat, and high in whole grain carbs, fruits, and vegetables are best for ridding yourself of unwanted blubber.

You don’t need to torture yourself while dieting. Have fun and experiment. Use your diet as an excuse to try something new – maybe Japanese or vegetarian cuisine. Who knows? You may find out that you like your new diet better than your old one.

Exercise is a controversial topic because no matter who you ask, you’ll get a different answer. It is, however, generally agreed that regular cardio workouts – 3 or 4 times per week – are what you need to burn the fat you have and kick start your metabolism to become flat stomach men.

Good cardio workouts for flat stomach men include:

walking

running

bicycling

Martial arts

Yoga

Make sure to stretch first, to avoid risk of injury.

Stomach Exercises

After you’ve got a healthy diet and regular cardio, the way to flatten your stomach is by targeted midsection exercises.

A good rule is that any exercise that bends your spine in the lower back region is good. When performing stomach exercises, try to maintain the natural arch of your back. This will make your exercises more effective and reduce back strain.

Sit-ups

For years, men have been told that sit-ups are the best way to flatten your stomach and strengthen your abs. New research has proven that this is incorrect. Sit-ups not only don’t work well for flat stomach men, but they can also be dangerous.

Because sit-ups only involve, well, sitting up, they don’t work your abdominal muscles. They work your thighs and back. They give you less bang for your buck, and can cause lower back pain down the road.

Most experts now recommend that you should avoid sit-ups entirely. Do crunches instead.

Now that you know the answers, you can begin your stomach training on the right track. Remember, with work and patience, you too can be one of the flat stomach men. Good luck.

Along with the female form, what is attractive in male appearance has also undergone numerous influences, some bizarre, some extreme in nature. Fads and fashions have come and gone. It has taken a long while for the classic male form to resurface in popular culture, but it finally has.

Clothing habits and religious traditions have kept the male body under wraps for most of the past 2,000 years. In early Christian times, Rome ruled most of the known world, and everyone wore togas. The wealthy over-ate; the poor were undernourished.

Click Here for Classic Ripped Abs Suited for the Gods!

Only attractive servants and gladiators ran around half naked. While most depictions of gladiators show them semi-armored, the male abs are almost always exposed. Servants wore knee length tunics that covered the chest. Nothing to see there.

During the formative years of Christianity, only religious images were commissioned or preserved. Seeking to avoid lustful thoughts and deeds, men and women hid their attractiveness under long garments and head scarves. Self denial was the rule and images of emaciated saints, long suffering, or innocent and chaste women were created.

With the advent of Islam, Muslims embraced the established values of Christianity and Judaism, and they, too, covered the body. Women added the face to the list of things you shouldn’t expose in public.

During the Italian Renaissance, great thinkers and artists abounded. Looking for the ideal, or the divine, in the human form, artists and sculptors resurrected the classical themes. Hundreds of pieces of art survive – presenting poses in every degree of nakedness, and attesting to the beauty of the human form. Great statues, such as Michaelangelo’s David, were created.

The Renaissance did not last long, and Western Civilization quickly covered itself, again. European tradition was carried to the New World by way religious escapees, and continued in that state until this very century.

Not since the times of Greek heroes and Roman gladiators have so many men bared there bodies, especially those male abs, in public.

The Greeks revered the human form in its full development. They copied it and emulated it, carving their Gods as images of the human ideal. The Classical Greeks, who were notoriously self-righteous, even admired the body outside of their people. Nowhere could they find it more developed than in the warriors who fought as mercenaries for them, or sometimes against them, called the Gauls. Today, we often call them Celts.

Modern weight lifting competitions base their standards of development on the Greek forms of perfection. If you think otherwise, just examine a copy of the statue of the Dying Gaul. It was not only one of the most expressive pieces of sculpture ever made, it is a tribute to every man who aspires to develop his body to its fullest potential – with strong sinuous legs, a full set of pectorals, and glorious male abs.

Although the ancient Greeks may have been the first civilization to publicly appreciate male abs, they’re probably here to stay.

Stunning men abs are everywhere. You can see sculpted bods on TV, in magazines, and on billboards. We all know that a six pack is sexy. But how do you get one?

Those sculpted bods with ripped abs are usually paid models selling some gadget, gizmo, gimmick, or machine promising to give you rock solid sexy abs.

Click Here for Time and Money-saving men abs workouts!

Do those machines work? Do you know the truth?

Before you buy an abdominal training machine or join a gym, there are 3 things you should know:

Abdominal training machines can aid in strengthening and toning, but they will not give you overall strength or melt fat, when used alone.

Although machines and equipment may help, men abs can get toned and strong without them, at home.

Due to genetics, some men will get rock hard abs quicker and easier than others.

Machines

The number of abdominal training machines available is mind-boggling. Many can be found at the gym, and others are available for home use. Do they work?

That depends. Some provide real benefits, most are the same as just doing abdominal targeting exercises, and a few actually do nothing.

The machines you can find in the gym usually have the benefit of progressive resistance, allowing you to increase your workout as you increase in strength, but you can achieve the same benefits at home by doing weighted exercises.

The primary benefits to purchasing an at-home machine for men abs are:

Motivation

Form

If having a machine will motivate you to follow through with your fitness plan, then purchasing one is a good investment. If it won’t, then it may not be.

Form is an important consideration. If you do not have good form, you are not exercising properly. This not only defeats the purpose of working out, but puts you at risk for injury. An exercise machine cannot give you good form. However, once you know you are exercising properly, the machine can reinforce your good form until it becomes second nature to you.

Before purchasing a machine, ask your friends for recommendations and check popular review sites on the Web.

Working Abs at Home

Unlike with many exercises, there is little danger in working your abs to exhaustion. Start out slow, and step up your routine until you can’t do anymore.

6 great ab training exercises are:

lying leg raises – lower abs

reverse crunches – lower abs

hanging knee raises – lower abs

ab crunches – upper abs

cross-knee crunches – upper abs

pulldown crunches – upper abs

Genetics

Don’t get discouraged because the guy next to you at the gym works out half as much and has abs of steel, while you’re still sporting love handles. Most people who start a fitness routine for the first time give up within a month.

Why?

Because they aren’t taking genetics into account. Did your father have a potbelly? Don’t be surprised if you do too.

Don’t worry, though. You’re not doomed. But you may have to work harder and longer than others; men abs aren’t always the same.

Keep training, and remember that proper diet and cardio fitness is key to any fitness routine, and soon your hard work will be paying off and you’ll be glad that you didn’t quit.
