Years ago in high school gym class, our teacher explained the importance of cardiovascular exercise.

He told us about the so-called “fat burning range”.

The range where your heart pumped between 50 and 70% of its maximum heart rate.

And after about 20 min. in this range, you supposedly burned excess body fat.

So in theory, an hour of “cardio” burns 40 minutes worth of fat.

It turns out..

My teacher gets a big FAT ‘F’ when it comes to maximizing belly fat loss!

Don’t get me wrong, if you spend HOURS a week on a treadmill steadily jogging until your eyes glazed over, you do destroy SOME excess fat.

But who wants to spend 3-4 hours a week doing ‘cardio’…

It’s soooooooooooooooooo BORING!!!

But here’s the really bad news:

If that’s all you do, you make it EASIER to pack on MORE fat later.

Why?

Because, anytime you lose weight you lose both fat AND metabolism-boosting muscle…

Lower metabolism = excess fat magnet!
